Set Up Your Own Fund

You can have your own named charitable:

endowment fund (minimum £25,000) - where your money is invested to give long-term support to your chosen cause(s). Endowment funds are invested within our overall portfolio. The income plus any capital growth in line with our policy generated from the investment of the endowment is available annually to award in grants. Fees: County Durham Foundation makes an annual charge of 1.25%, which covers investment management, grant making and administration. We also retain any short-term interest on unspent balances.
revenue fund - where you give one-off support to specific good causes. Revenue funds allow you or your appointed committee to distribute your charitable gift to selected good causes throughout the course of the year, therefore providing a more immediate benefit during that period.
Fees: These named funds carry a 10% annual charge depending on the level of service required.
or a combination of both the above.
Fees: These funds carry a 1.25% annual charge for management of the endowment and 5% revenue, depending on the level of service required.

Remember, you can pay by installments and add to your fund at any time.
