Walkway Wind Farm Fund

Maximum Grant: £3,000 (exceptions up to £5,000 may be considered)

Area of benefit:

The Area of Benefit has no qualifying geographical boundary but priority will be given to suitable applications for projects closest to the site, in effect the villages of Sedgefield, Trimdon, Fishburn and Wynyard.

What we will fund:

The fund shall help projects based around local carbon emissions reduction, sustainable energy, energy efficiency or general environmental enhancement.

Grant Size

All applications must be within the £100 to £3,000 range, although in exceptional circumstances grants of up to £5,000 may be considered.

Step 1: If you haven't already please read the guidelines above carefully to ensure you are eligible.

Step 2: Please fill out an Expression of Interest Form. You can do this in two ways: by filling in our online form or by downloading a pdf version to fill in and post to us at:

Step 3: Sit back and wait to hear from us. We will look at your Expression of Interest form and if we feel that your project meets the criteria we will then request that you complete a full application. This system will ensure that you do not spend time completing a full and detailed application for a project that may not be supported.
