1. Priority will be given to applications within a three mile radius of the wind farm, to include: Craghead, Edmondsley, Esh, Grange Villa, Greencroft, Hartside, Hett Hills, Holmside, Lanchester, Langley Park, Maiden Law, Pelton Fell, Plawsworth, Quebec, Sacriston, South Moor, Tan Hills, The Middles, Waldridge, Witton Gilbert.
2. Consideration will also be given to groups located within a 10-mile radius of the site, if proof can be given that the beneficiaries come from the above areas.
The following types of activity and projects will be funded:
• Biodiversity and habitat conservation.
• Energy conservation and increased use of renewables.
• Other projects that are community-based and / or community-led.
All applications must be within the £100 to £1,000 range, although in exceptional circumstances grants of up to £5,000 may be considered.
Step 1: If you haven't already please read the guidelines above carefully to ensure you are eligible.
Step 2: Please fill out an Expression of Interest Form. You can do this in two ways: by filling in our online form or by downloading a pdf version to fill in and post to us at:

Step 3: Sit back and wait to hear from us. We will look at your Expression of Interest form and if we feel that your project meets the criteria we will then request that you complete a full application. This system will ensure that you do not spend time completing a full and detailed application for a project that may not be supported.
