About the Fund Holder

This bursary programme is funded by a community legacy given to County Durham Foundation by British American Tobacco, (formerly Rothmans).

What we will fund

Are you eligible?

Applicants must live or work in the Easington area, with a priority for Peterlee and actively contribute towards a community activity or project, which provides services or activities needed by the local community.

This bursary programme will be for people who:

Groups of up to three likeminded individuals can apply for a bursary.
Each individual should fill out a separate application form. You do not have to do the same activities, for example you could go on different training courses to develop your Community Project.

Apply for a grant

We cannot make retrospective awards so please ensure that you allow three months from the time of your application to the start date of your project.
